The Human Moxie’s VALENTINE’S DAY GIVEAWAY!!!
@thehumanmoxie on InstagramMr. Romantic. 😍❤️MY. OH. MY. 🙈 We have a TWEEN boy TODAY‼️💥😮💥😮 This sweet child says some of the most poignant things at times and choked us up on Sunday during our family lunch. We were in the middle of a conversation about legal laws and moral values when he insightfully said, “I’m glad you decided to take care of us... so that your life can be better, right Mom?” 💔😭❤️💗💖 He is 1000% RIGHT. This very gifted baby was not in our plans, but the Lord worked things together for GOOD. God has a divine calling and plan for Hugo’s life, and our lives are truly BETTER and BLESSED because he was BORN! ❤️❤️❤️ Happy, HaPpY, HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY to our firstborn treasure, HUGO!!! 🎉🎈🎁🎈🎉 WE LOVE YOU. SO. VERY. MUCH. ❤️❤️❤️I brought this one of a kind ring home with me from Israel 🇮🇱 and I love what it represents to me. 😍 I’m not crazy about souvenirs just for the sake of souvenirs, or even jewelry for that matter, but I heard from my friend, Katie, about unique handmade jewelry made in Megiddo, so I walked into the little shop to scan the display case and admire the creativity. (I’m so glad you encouraged me to go take a peek, Katie! 💕) While there were beautiful necklaces, earrings and bracelets, none really caught my attention quite like this particular ring did. I was actually surprised. Five pieces of what I now know as Roman glass are placed in this ring. [Roman Glass is ancient glass discovered in archaeological excavation sites in Israel and other Mediterranean countries. The sources of the glass in a piece of Roman jewelry originally belonged to a vase, jug or vessel]. In other words, parts of a whole. ❤️ I thought that was AWESOME!!! At first, the tree and the leaves reminded me of “the Tree of Life.” And the Roman glass shards reminded me of my family of 5. A small unit but part of a bigger unit, the body of Christ. ❤️ Without saying much beyond complimenting the ring to the gal working in the store, she replied that the ring was called the Tree of Life. It was telling of what I already had in my heart. I tried it on and it was a perfect fit. I hesitated purchasing it at first, so we held off and went to lunch nearby. But I didn’t stop thinking about it. John 15:5 came to my mind while eating: “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in Me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.” Between that verse and then Psalm 23:6, “Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever,” where I believe the Tree of Life will also be, it became clear that this ring has a special story and it would be a special keepsake from the Holy Land and the footsteps we took where Jesus Himself walked. I love the surprises that took place in the unexpected moments of our trip to Israel and can’t wait to go back and bring others with us too! ❤️
